- I read a brilliant book the other day - 'Wonder' by R. J. Palacio.  Has anyone else read it?  It's about a young boy called August who has a facial abnormality and struggles to fit in at a new school.  The blurb compared it to 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime' but I didn't especially enjoy that, whereas 'Wonder' kept me reading ( Read more... )

- For the first time ever, I was utterly charmed by Jack Whitehall.  He was a pretty lovely QI guest, wasn't he?  On 'Mock The Week' he comes across as smug and posh, but on QI he seemed like a different person and I think I might just have changed my whole opinion of him.  Pleasantly surprised, seeing as I thought he'd be an awful QI panellist ( Read more... )
